Gallery History

Gallery 203 opened its doors on April 15, 1994 and has experienced a truly successful run. The gallery was formed and is still owned by 5 artists, two of whom are still with the gallery. It is one of the oldest galleries in the Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood and has shown the works of many up-and-coming Chicago artists. It has gained the respect of the artists it has shown as well as the artists it has befriended and encouraged. It is also proud to have been a supporter of the Around the Coyote group for the past 10 years.
